After 10 weeks of spring league. Its over. The final week was kind weather wise and the wind got calmer as the evening wore on. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be for Spider and he fell short of his required 45 to snatch the lead from Si Edwards. Though to be fair he did spend half the round dazed and bloodied after a run in with a tree Branch.
In the End Si Edwards finished with a best 4 round average of 46.25. Spider managed just 2 whole shots less on 46.75 & Chicky was just 1 shot further back.
The Handicap competition was also very tight. Rob Tuck ended triumphant with a handicap score of 44.5 just 2 shots clear of Pete Cowdy on a 45. 3rd Was Si Edwards with Scott Ward & Jon Usherwood in joint 4th with a 46.8.
The Best handicap round of the league were Pete Cowdys 40, Rob & Si’s 42 & Ben Wards 43.
In the end 20 of the 29 registered players managed to complete 4 qualifying rounds.
